Bus Drivers Not Questioning No Face Masks?
Other
hi i understand why so many people are panicked or worried about this infection .however why are some bus drivers allowing passengers on without masks and not asking to see if there exempt ?
Best ask the bus company or driver. They probably not bothered or don't want to enforce or police this
Same reason I saw two young men without masks running around Waitrose recently, seemed perfectly young and fit but acted as if they were somehow 'above the law'. No one wants to risk a mouthful of abuse.
It's the same with shops. I thought it was now mandatory to wear a face mask at all times when visiting shops? Yet I have been seeing many people in shops without face masks.
I saw a lot of passengers on London bus without mask. I was shocked.
But I think it is hard to force when some people so rude and police force on this one is imaginary. They have other crimes to deal with.
I haven't got on as bus but shops are bad and now school is going back people seem to think everything is fine. My daughter goes guides everyone said go back when I asked question about it was ignored my view isnt popular
Can't blame them really it's not their job to enforce masks and most don't want to get into confrontation with passengers, especially as they are out on their own without anyone there to back them up or support them .
They don’t want the hassle. And tbh a lot of them aren’t keen on wearing them themselves - theres a pitstop near me where the drivers wait to change shifts, and they more or less huddle together, no masks or distancing.
I find it strange as to why so many people are not wearing them on the bus .. today I saw a bunch of school kids and they were not wearing a mask on the bus. Surely, they all can't be exempt? I believe bus drivers don't enforce it because passengers can become rude and aggressive.
On school buses nobody wears masks and on public transportation the amount of people wearing masks has decreased
