I do like watching Jeremy Vine and I am in shock if a week goes by where they don't suggest shall we "ban " .

I much prefer deciding to use or not use something. You are right though Leannexxx the country and the world has gone mad .

The day that you are born until the day that you die we are owned and controlled by something or somebody. It`s a fact.

I watch a lot of YouTube and am constantly surprised at how lucky we are compared to say, America. Even the Americans admire things we have that they don't. Much of their food is not suitable for human consumption, they do not have paid holidays, no nhs system, no PAYE system so tax returns must be done by everyone not just businesses. I agree this country is going to the dogs and I hate a lot of the unnecessary bans they bring in but truly, some people are so thick, selfish, don't give a damn for rules and authorities and cannot be relied upon to self govern or control themselves.

I welled up this morning when I watched a wife/ son saying how a 23 yr old woman killed their husband/dad whilst texting and taking selfies while driving. We all know mobile phones shouldn't be used when driving but that little sh*t only got 3 years and will only do half.

I am more concerned with leftie loonies who are driving wokeism to a frightening level.

Leannexxx Lynibis Anyone caught using a mobile when driving should get a large fine and points in the first instance and then an instant ban for doing it subsequently with the fine doubling each time. After 5 bans, JAIL.

Just my opinion

Leannexxx I understand. But a lot of these banning ideas are from nutjobs and most of them never come about. Although disposable nappies are a problem for the planet there is no way they could be banned, can you imagine today's working mums going back to terry nappies? I think people might stop having babies 😂😂😂

Lynibis As someone who was once involved in a road collision (thankfully wasn't too serious) with the culprit being on her phone, people glued to their phones whilst driving is one of my pet peeves. It's bad enough when they're walking towards me on the pavement.

This is what happens when extreme left wing politicians are elected, they want complete control of everything we do

For me personally i wouldn’t mind being dictated to if decisions were being made in our best interest to better our lives. Usually though is so someone can make loads of money.

There are too many who know what’s best for us. If it’s that bad they shouldn’t be allowed to sell it.

Why are they banning everything? One day red wine is good next it’s bad. Cereals etc. As for smoking pleased they are not going ahead with pub garden ban.
