Make up to Cover Blemishes

Ask a Question

I currently use no7 Make-up...well I did but I’ve not put make up on for a couple of months due to lockdown.

I’m looking to change my brand now as I’ve developed an uneven skin tone since having my children. I’m 40... Could anyone recommendation good foundation that looks Natural but good enough to cover blemishes. I’d prefer to purchase from somewhere like boots rather than online

Any advice would be muchly appreciated

At the budget end of the market have a look at these:

  • L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Foundation £10.99
  • Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation £7.99

Both are available at Superdrug.

At the more expensive end, you could try Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions (around £28)

Just for the record, I'm a bloke who doesn't wear foundation, who has a wife, who....

Iv been using Loreal True match foundation for years & I always go back to it. It's great for day to day but is also very buildable if needed. The Ordinary foundation serum is good but very has light coverage but does cover my issues (dark circles, redness & blemishes) More expensive brand I love lancome le teint idole. My main concern on my face is redness & those are what work best for me. I'm 37.

I use Revolution, their concealer is brilliant. I get a lot of blemishes and have tried different brands but this is by far the best I've tried, you can get it in Superdrug etc and it's about £6/7 (they do different sizes)

Try and be patient wait for the stores to open and go to a couple and get as many samples to try at home. Boots and John Lewis are very good to get samples.
