Cristiano Ronaldo "Drink Water!' Stance

In the News

I am not normally a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, but I was really impressed when he refused to have Coca-Cola bottles in interview: 'Drink water!'

I think this is great as it will encourage young children to drink more water.

His bosses at Juventus may not be too thrilled with this, as they currently have a deal with Coca~Cola. Although, this incident has given Coke a lot of extra free publicity. Presumably, most people that buy fizzy drinks already know it's not the healthiest option. Ronaldo has been sponsored by KFC in the past, which isn't exactly going to help you become a sporting giant if you regularly eat a bucket.

Watched a programme a few years ago how coca cola is exploiting workers and damage the environment, plastic pollution...there is so much they could do to clean up their act 😞

I remember when I was a kid, our science teacher put a penny into cola and it brought it up like new. So, what does it do to your insides 🙂

I'm not a fan either but I agree, he has a lot of young fans so I think his reaction here could encourage some people to drink more water instead of fizzy drinks.

My daughter won't drink water at all until I got her flavored water from Aldi and she's loves it now

I prefer flavoured water, but when it's really hot, nothing quenched your thirst that a glass of cold water 😎

According to an article I just read Cristiano Ronaldo's press conference slashes billions off Cola-Cola's market value, his stance is being copied by others Paul Pogba follows Cristiano Ronaldo by removing alcohol brand from press conference, he is a devout Muslim.

It’s great that he did that. they are saying that it’s lost coke cola so much money on the stock market. I don’t understand how that action can make that happen ? And that much value ? Are they just saying that for attention. I don’t care if it effects Coke cola. I just don’t see how one man pushes it aside and it can supposedly effect the shares that much. Image
