Cupboard vs Fridge - Where Do You Keep What?

Other

Butter and jam in the fridge and the rest are in the cupboard for me. Although some of these items would last so much longer if they were indeed in the fridge, but i guess it's just a habit of having some things matching the room temperature.

But mayonnaise once open should go in the fridge I believe. I put eggs in the fridge but I know you can leave them out.

Once open jam, mayonnaise and tomato sauce in the fridge along with the eggs (although I bring them to room temperature before using them). Chocolate in the fridge too as we like it like that. Bread in the bread bin. The rest - leave out (garlic in the garage with the onions).

Butter in fridge everything else cupboard. My rule is if bought from 'chilled' section in supermarket it goes in fridge if not cupboard or cool place.

I don’t like bread that has been in the fridge. It’s okay for toasting, but not to eat fresh.

It is advised on the jars that mayonnaise and ketchup be stored in the fridge once open.

Butter - fridge

chocolate - fridge

jam - fridge.

Everything else not refrigerated.

I prefer chocolate at room temperature. I could be mistaken but I think it’s richer and smoother eaten at room temperature.

I put as much as I can in the fridge to avoid flies and other bugs coming into contact with my food. Works for me.

All goes in fridge except bread goes in bread bin garlic in veg box, generally I'll keep ripe avocados in the box too but now weather is warmer I put them in fridge so they last longer.
