Out of Curiosity Do You Post More Then 3 Deals a Day

Ask a Question

Am curious to know how many actually post more then 3 deals a day, after points stop at your third deal if you were to see another would you share.

I think correct me if am wrong your aloud 10 a day. I love sharing and some days yep posted more.

Do you stop after points end or carry on

Ann1984 Do you mean just Deals or anything on the site that attracts points? I don't often find a good deal to post, comps are nearly always posted but I did get four new ones this morning 🙂 Chat I just keep on chatting, joking or smiling 🙂

I don’t won’t it to sound as if am having a go but I know of few members that posts a few and comment a lot on here but not gaining points just doing it

Sadly very few post 3 deals a day , many post 3 non deals a day , quite often Amazon marketplace tat which all have a fictitious discount off a totally made up original price .

But don't get me started on how many members post exactly 3 non deals a day , every single day solely to harvest points - and they stick out like a sore thumb !

Jasmine111 I thought it was 10 thank you. I do tend to only post good deals but then think but maybe that 5metre extension lead could be useful to somebody.

I try to do 3 as a minimum but I wouldn’t be stopped adding an additional deal if I happened to come across one. I agree, some of the deals shared are not deals at all, I personally think it might be a good idea to maybe reward deals shared that end up trending, on the ‘today’s best’ section or over 50 likes to encourage better deals to be shared.

Leesha86 good idea maybe but then not all members here use social media

Unfortunately that wouldn't work under the current system of rewarding "likes" with points . I explained it at length on this post https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/chat/sadly-criticisms-latest-deals-becoming-voucher-earning-site-justified

To summarise the trouble is too many members "like " the first deals they see in order to get their points . That leads to those deals that make the popular page (which can be completely random ) are more visible hence get more likes ad infinitum .

Maybe if points were not given for "liking" and members just liked the deals they actually thought were good then a more accurate representation of really good deals would ensue ?

Ann1984 I meant trending on the front page of latest deals or getting likes (or maybe I should of said hearts) on here, not on another social media platform.

Golfforall I see what you mean, it’s possible that people would be more thoughtful with the likes if the person was earning from it but yes, no points for liking would solve that too x

Leesha86 I did originally but sadly it has long been apparent that a majority just click to "like" the first things they see to gain the points . Unfortunately this totally skews the "Popular " list and leads to many great deals being missed . Who looks at page 4 of the "New " deals (which I refer to as the "abyss " ?

I usually post more if I have been shopping&seen more deals in store.I do like comparing prices,i've had some bargains in boots a while back, they are only in store though,Superdrug too,so I will take a picture of the actual item and share on here..usually they are nationwide x

Sometimes 3 sometimes more, depends on the day, how many good deals I am finding. If in my opinion deal is good I will definitely post it as it may help others to save some money.

Apparently I've gone against the rules so I'm not allowed to post anything , I got a ' nice ' email saying the " authority " was sorry (?) . Oh well at least , for now , I'm not censored from chatting to all you lovely people . Image

I wouldn't normally post more than 3 deals a day. Unless the rules have changed you get locked out of LD for the rest of the day if you post over a certain amount - this happened to me a number of times. The exception is posting competitions. This was originally capped, but you can now post as many as you want. Consequently, I do post 4 or 5 competitions in a day fairly frequently. Some other users go crazy and post lots of competitions every day.

For me, finding good deals is very difficult so I often just post my 3 and go. I don’t often get flagged for posting duplicates so that’s fine with me.
