Cyclists Accused of Faking Larger Bra Size at Tour De France Femmes

Ask a Question

If Dolly Parton was a bit younger i imagine she would make a good candidate for a cycling race

It's not the women cyclists riding two abreast that's the problem here, it's enhancing them artificially by stuffing objects in the cups , and it's not to impress anyone on a night out

Apparently the larger the bosom the less drag there is in a race, the air is forced down more between the legs and drag is reduced by up to 3.6 per cent . This means in a cycling race a contestant with a larger front could gain over 16 seconds over a 21 kilometre course , enough to clinch a victory

Several women cyclists have been caught 'bra boosting' or 'chest fairing' as it is now commonly known , i would call it 'chest unfairing myself'

There are now big penalties if anyone is caught doing this

Quote ''Artificially altering clothes is prohibited by the International Cycling Union (UCI). If a rider is caught during or after a race and therefore in violation of Article 1.3.033 of the UCI’s regulations, they could face immediate disqualification and a fine ranging from 200 Swiss francs (£184) to 1,000 (£918), or potentially higher for more serious or intentional rule breaches''.

I wonder if there will be a sudden explosion in breast implants in the sport ?

So how are they testing for this? Are they measuring chests before and after the race? What about padded push up bras? Are those okay or is sports bras only? I have many questions. 😀 Image

Sherrifffroggy There's quite a few 'points' that need answering S 😉

It is funny the way certain sports people will try to cheat, this is similar to the crotch stuffing scandal at the winter Olympics and seems to work under the same principle. I suppose at least both of these things are relatively easy to check for but it might be worth the competitions manufacturing their own clothes for their events, that way they can be sure that everything is equal and fair.

jms19 Funnily enough i was going to post about that here before you said J, but the article mentions the 'p' appendage , so thought AI would reject it 😬
