Dalgona Coffee - Have You Made it?
Ask a Question
I‘m not really a coffee drinker, but images of homemade dalgona coffee has been making the rounds online, and I’m thinking I might as well try it out
just saw a simple recipe here:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/dalonga_coffee_20606
have you tried it yet?
I think the recipe is not right....milk will never foam like that...It needs to be done with cream, but than it will be an extremely unhealthy drink
Apparently cream is not required, and a few people I know tried it this week and it looks good. Not sure why it can froth like that though - must be some food science behind it (the milk is not used to get the frothy part)
I think I’ll just pop the kettle on and make an instant coffee or as it’s Easter I’ll make a cafeteria.
Thanks for this. I do like to try out a nee idea in the kitchen and leave a trail of destruction.
It's not as though I'm short of time..... I've never come across this so I'll have to have a go. Interesting find.
