Dancing on Ice

Anyone watched DOI tonight? If so what did you think of it and will you be continue watching it? Do you have a favourite already and who are you looking forward to watching on next week's episode. I really enjoyed H and Perrie's performance and really looking forward to watching Libby Clegg
I did watch it but wasn't watching closely, as i was sorting out dinner do missed Perry's. I enjoyed it, thought H and Matt were brilliant and Lisa was good too
I saw Joe, Perrie and Lisa, but I was getting my son ready for bed so wasn't really paying attention
I watched it last night. Perry was good but I just don't want him to win. I don't find it fair seeing as he's a professional dancer and also knows how to skate.
I don't usually watch but was interested to see this year's line up. Probably won't watch again. I find it strange that there can be a competition where there is such a disparity of age, gender and ability and expect it to be a fair competition. Same with Strictly. I felt hugely embarrassed and sympathetic toward Trisha Goddard.
I enjoyed it. I was reading an interview with Matt Evers regarding his coupling with H, they apparently had to change a lot of the lifts as H's male appendage kept getting in the way, amused me anyway
Billie my mother in law was here last night and she said she werent fussed on watching because of same sex dancing and she doesnt like it. Bearing in mind me and her daughter are in a same sex marriage with children
KirsteyJames you couldn't make it up could you?
Billie I found it funny the way Matt put it, 'we couldn't do the roll-up because his balls got in the way' most mens dream comment I reckon.
I don't care if they are same sex, mixed gender or hippos in tutus, I just enjoy watching the routines. I was more concerned last night by the big band members walking and playing instruments on the ice than anything else, held my breath all the way through, bit like Joe Swash in that instance
Dilligaf I also read that interview and it made me chuckle too! I think they will have to be super inventive to made the routines attention-grabbing. They worked well with the prop last night but it's not going to be easy unless H becomes a competent partner, improving each week. Love Matt - he does loves a challenge. I laughed out loud when the skaters said they didn't want to be a 'Todd Carty'
Poor old Todd, all these years on and still gets ribbed, nobody remembers him for Grange Hill or EastEnders now ;). I know what you mean about the routines, they are limited due to the weight ratio and the aforementioned bits getting in the way with lifts, so they will have to counteract that somehow, don't think they will be doing the Headbanger.
Poor old Matt, always getting attention for the wrong reasons, the GC last year and now H. Who cares if they are the same sex or gay, they've been doing it in ballet for years, all I want to see is the performance, they could be green with 6 heads for all I care. Unfortunately if they get booted off, someone is bound to say it is homophobic regardless of whether they are good or not.
