How Do You Handle Your Children's Friends Who Aren't That Kind?

Ask a Question

I have a 9 year old girl and she has a group of friends but no one of them are being a little horrible pushing her out when there playing and blocking her on a game but when she has no one else to play with she wants to play with my daughter with her I don't know what to do about it because she doesn't think she's doing anything wrong my daughter thinks everyone is her friend

Has anyone else dealt with something like this ?

I have girls and sadly this is normal for today’s kids boys included. It does eventually stop when at high school but then comes the bullies in the past I have spoken with head of school for children to be reminded about being kind worth a go.

I had this all the way throigh primary and high school. Girls would only be my friend when they had no one else to hang out with and when they all made friends again they would gang up and gave me crap. Funny how they all ended up at different colleges and one of them was a loner with no friends at all and would watch me hang out with all my college friends.

Hopefully you daughter will find out on her own that her friend isn't very nice. Does she go to Brownies or any activities, so she can widen her social circle
