Day out for Kids

You haven’t given us any idea of your location or age of children. I’m sure once you say lots of the kind people who are in this group will make some good suggestions.

What would your budget be? If you're on a tight budget,could would suggest looking up places of interest in you local area that are free. There are usually some great museums that you should be able to access free of charge for rainy days.

I got my kids some new wellies and we have been visiting all the small streams and rivers around the local reservoirs walking along them, yes right in the water, and then having a picnic. My 7 and 9 year olds have been loving it. Then we spend time in the forest generally looking around and finding sticks.
