Deals - Do You Buy Because You Need it?
Ask a Question
Do you buy a deal because it's a good deal or because you actually need it?
Depends how good the deal is Most things i need or would be ideal for gifts. If something is really cheap then i will find a use for it
I only buy to replace for myself.
The price makes no difference to me if I do not actually need the item.
I stand and battle with myself, saying “will i regret not buying this, do i need it, i think i’ve got better at not buying stuff i dont need
If I think there's a good chance I'll need the item in future, and it's a great price, I might buy it, but it depends.
Same with freebies and glitches. I used to go mad for any freebie but ended up not using most - I only go for what I think I will use, or can gift easily.
If it's something I'll wonder what to do with, and have it sitting around for ages, I don't bother anymore.
It can be a tough thing to say no to a good deal or a freebie, but it means someone else that really wants or needs it might get it, and you don't have something taking up space.
We are on the same page in our thinking!
The only time I bulk buy is for essentials for the kitchen or bathroom. Saves quite a bit of money too.
I do not go for the deals the majority of the times as I have everything that I need. I *almost* got sucked into some of the deals but my bank card has a strong opinion and a say in my shopping experiences so no I do not buy deals
When I need something I search for deals. I like to use this site to spot extra deals that might be good for presents as I hate doing this at the time as you spend too much. Also now and again you can find a silly deal and buy something interesting for yourself.
