Dirty Dancing Classic or Dont Know What the Fascination Is.

Every time Dirty Dancing is on the tv my wife if she wasnt @ work will always insist on watching it . I for 1 do love the music in it but being a lover for the movies in terms of the acting its not a classic by any stretch of the imagination . What do you think classic or dont understand the fascination?
Definitely a classic. I really like Dirty Dancing, it's a fun movie with great music and dancing. Plus I'm a big Patrick Swayze fan.
I loved this movie so much when I was a teenager. I'm not completely sure why, I think the combination of the music and the story. I still like watching it now.
I saw this when I was younger, it was Ok. With the exception of the quote" Nobody puts baby in the corner" which is a classic line.
I prefer Grease.
100% a classic, I saw Dirty Dancing with my mum for the first time when I was about 10 and it was such a special mother-daughter bonding experience. I love all the dirty dancing movies, the remake and Havana nights. They making another movie in a couple of years. I can't wait
Well it was a fantastic watch in it's time and was very popular, so those sort of films usually become classics. I wouldn't watch it now though, find it a bit soppy.
It scores a 7.0 on imdb which is basically a competent rather than stellar film but of course that could be a very polarised opinion and personally I couldn't even watch Dirty Dancing not my sort of film at all. I can't really get any entertainment value out of seeing people dance at all. It might be a classic of the dancing genre but that genre isn't universally liked.
3 guesses what I was watching tongiht . DId enjoy it as the kids were all on there consoles and we was enjoying the peace n quiet.
