What is Your Most Disastrous Moment of All Time?

Was talking to my old army buddy today and he was telling me about his latest disaster so it got me thinking are peoples disaster really as bad as mine have been in life?
This is just the tip of my iceberg- In my first week in my job as a police officer you would not believe me - suffice to say i smacked the patrol car into a hotel gate in Aberdeen on my first week, threw a cigarette end out of the patrol car and it blew in the back window and set the rear seats on fire - i tried to disguise it but the seats were black and the foam was yellow - hard to disguise but the piesta resistance was my Aberdeen hotel - i feel asleep in the bath with the shower on and flooded the room - i woke up and to my horror the water had reached the room door and was leaking into the hallway so i had to use all the towels in the room to mop up the water and turned the heaters up full blast so i was sweating like a pig , panicking and running around all night until 8am in the morning trying vainly to dry it up before the cleaners arrived - i then took the 10-20 free newspapers in a rack outside the hotel corridor and mopped the rest up and ended up with a soggy newspaper ball the size of a medicine ball and no way to smuggle it out of reception so i dropped it out of the hotel window... without looking and it nearly hit a guy below - just glad he did not report me to the hotel otherwise i would have been busted and the amazing thing is the hotel never reported it to my boss and neither did the burned seats in the patrol car even though the "bright yellow hole" was about the size of a football - amazing i got away with it actually.
That story actually got published as a true disaster story and earned me £100 but i left out the fact i was a police officer at the time!
I know it sounds fantastical but my life has been rather unusual i could go on there are crazier disaster than that but hopefully that will give a few people a laugh in the morning (or more likely deleted) lol

Bumped into a lamppost when I was four scar front of my forehead not been same since lol and that was a joke not the lamppost but me haha x

I can beat that though i was bitten by a 6 foot tiger shark in Australia when i was only 7 - 200 stitches in my right leg and lost some of my hip and bone in my leg broken in two and now have a metal plate in my leg but funnily its my strongest leg - i used to legpress 500lbs (nearly quarter of a ton - the full plate stack it was) at the gym on one leg it was my party-piece!
Loislane PS i binge watched WAR OF THE WORLDS new French series last night and only managed half a box of after eights - sadly its big girls pants!
Im off to finish the binge got 4 more episodes left and thats me finished soldering for the night - subwoofer fixed and youview box number 2 now working - its been a productive day except for crashing my new quadcopter up a 60 foot oak tree - ever seen an old guy 50 foot up and oak tree with a stick waggling around trying to knock his quadcopter out of a branch - not fun!

Its quite sad really when people take a dislike to you because they have such a small intellect and cannot handle someone who likes to chat , help others, give not take and tell the brutal truth - just shows what a society we live in eh - sad people i feel sorry for them actually my life has been full to the brim with experience, learning new languages, living in different countries his limit has probably been 2 weeks in spain on the beach every year - sad man!
I have put in 500 competitions here 1000's of deals to his 53 and yet he feels intimidated by me on a silly shopping forum - it illustrates quite a lot about people in general these days dontya think?

Stop putting yourself down - your personality and common decency are easy to spot Lo.
You are right not to trust 99% of people especially on the internet are not to be trusted in my experience.

I got shafted by my best mate of 40 years 5 years ago we were best buddies havent spoken to hims since - once i get the shaft its over for me i just cut and leave the party - did everything together holidays, puffed the blaw together, fought together then he goes and sticks it to me because i took his boss to court (his bosses dog bit me and he knew the dog didnt like me so why he let ity out was anyones guess but when the boss was out i gave the dog a really good fright and it learned its lesson quick - cowered every time i came in the room after that - dogs are like people a good kicking and they learn quick - a boss incidentally who slagged him off behind his back, let him down and demeaned him in front of his staff - i quote what he told me his boss actually said told the younger staff girls in the work location "work hard and get a qualification or you could end up a loser like David here" - and he took this guys side over mine?
Nah i have learned a lot no one but family can be trusted and even family can sometimes stick the boot in thankfully mine were the best!
Thanks for a guy my age i have been told that many times by young uns - i prefer their company actually they are on my level i mean what old guys do you know that love techno, trance hard house and still climb trees, have fun and a sense of Frankie Boyle humour and go out metal detecting and flying quadcopters lol I get on well with 20 somethings because i guess i never grew up but then i never had a wife and kids thats when one grows up so for me i am still waiting hahaha
