How to Display Pin Badges
Ask a Question
My daughter is looking for a good way to display her pin badges in her room at university. She wouldn't have anywhere to put up a Cork board. Any solutions. I have £10 left for her for Christmas so could buy something
Imnotcheap Amazon do a pin badge display book £7.99 can hold up to 350 pins. Alternatively a pendant similar to an Advent Calendar.
lilyflower I don't think she'd like the book as not fully on display but the pendant idea could work
They sell a lot of pins at Disney and loads of people collect them. A popular way is on a lanyard - you could buy a few in the theme of which pins she has then you can just hang them up on a command hook or similar that won't mark the walls - bit like these obviously these are Disney but whatever theme she has and they are quite cheap to buy the lanyards on eBay as well so should be well within budget.
emmabeckz that sounds like a good idea. I've bought marvel ones for Christmas from comic con. I know she also has pokemon ones
emmabeckz This seems a really good idea.Tidy and organised and keeps em safe in the one place.I like it!
DeBunny if I could find one that she could take cover off to attach them that could definitely work. Long as its big enough she has round 60
I just put all my pins on my bag, i did think cork board but you already said that’s not possible. Maybe she could get a blob of blu tack, take the backs off the pins and stick the spike into blu tack that’s on the wall
jms19 she has lost some previously off bag so doesn't do that anymore (it's also full of keyring so no space ). I've put some of mine of a shelf with blu tack she has too many for that really getting 6 more for Christmas
martinlufc5637 that's great I will have a look now. That would definitely solve her problem and look great
martinlufc5637 my father in law uses these for displaying military cap badges, just looking, if you have prime you can can get them for less than £12
martinlufc5637 mudgesheila50 little update I'm buying her something like you suggested she was made up with the idea so thank you both
Imnotcheap cool, they are the best to display them, like I said in an earlier post, my father in keeps his military badges in them, they look great
Imnotcheap, you'll have to share some photos of them when she gets them all displayed
I was just going to suggest the display boxes that martinlufc5637 has said. I have a few of these myself.
Imnotcheap They are not very heavy, I have jewellery in mine so they are on my dressing table. I'm not sure about putting them on the wall, I guess you can as there wouldn't be any heavy weight in it. Pins don't weigh that much, do they?
Imnotcheap there not for hanging unless you adapt them yourself, there is no holes in the back ect...
Could you maybe get something like some plywood and put them on to that and frame them with like a backdrop or maybe display cases
