Charlene Downes disappeared on 1 November 2003, when she was 14, from her home town of Blackpool, a seaside town in north-west England. She was last seen in an area of the town centre that contained several takeaway and fast-food units.
I have just watched a 3 part documentary on My five about Charlene Downes and would highly recommend it. A real eye opening insight.
Poor girl such a short and sad life.
This sounds quite interesting, can I ask what the documentary was called? I’m off work tomorrow so could do with something to binge 
My mistake it was on channel 5. There’s 3 episodes and it’s called The murder of Charlene Downes (I think. I’ll double check later).
