Does Anyone Get Car Park Rage?

Ask a Question

I'm quite calm on the road, I will shout the odd "Your car must not come with indicators ( Well something similar 😂)" but when it comes to people not parking correctly and I cant find a space then my rage is usually going through the roof.

Its not hard to park within the lines and if you cant for some reason ( Be questioning if they should have a licence) then why do people not park away from other cars like the other end of the car park?

Does anyone else experience rage while in a car park or even driving?

I get school carpark rage 🤬 the amount that park where there isn't a space or go the wrong way round a one way is ridiculous if the parents can't follow the rules how can they expect their kids to?

No. Coz what’s the point. Sometimes don’t know the route needed for destination. New drivers. New surrounds. Etc. If you’re a good driver you’re alert and allow for mistakes. Last min changes. Tyres and tar.. IMO. So be the kinda driver you’d want to surround you.

Golfforall ok these are a bug bear. But more fool them. Zero insurance cover when the snow lands on screen and can’t see the car in front. Total fault. But yeah. Avoid these peeps at all costs.

lynneh Why do they do that? They make a 'port hole' to see through but what about the rest of the windscreen? They will have limited vision and are a danger. Also, why do people drive around with a big pile of snow on the roof? Some people are so lazy and cause a hazard to other people too.

I’ve not been out for ages but I used to get cross when I saw people drive and park in the supermarket disabled spaces then run to the cash machines!!!

I've done it myself and would again. There are loads of disabled spaces at my local Sainsbury's and often rows of them are empty. They're close to the cash machines and as there are plenty of them free, I don't see a problem? You're not stopping a disabled person parking as there are plenty of others and you're in and out quickly and not using a space that a "normal" person could have used.

TractorGirl327 sorry I don’t agree. Our Tesco is very busy and I’ve seen fit people nip into the disabled parking bays when they shouldn’t when Blue Badge holders are patiently waiting.

Pjran If the car park was very busy and there was only one disabled space then of course I wouldn't use it. But if it was quiet and there were - like there often are in my Sainsbury's - 2 rows of 12 disables spaces empty - then I'd not think twice.

Oh that annoys me too. I so often have to miss out spaces because the other person can’t park between the lines. It is frustrating when car park is really full. Luckily I have a baby so I always try to get baby parking spaces, definitely a perk of having a child 😆 however they are often all taken lol

I have a fairly new car so am always very particular where I park it. I know the car parks in my town and don't, for example, go in the Asda one even though it's free for 3 hours because it's always congested, I'd prefer to go to the car park a bit further away and pay to park to ensure I don't get an idiot driving into me or opening a door onto my car. But when I park in a virtually empty car park and then come back to find a car right next to me, it does frustrate me a bit!!

In the good old days when the gym car park would get full there were always two or three people would park across two spaces. Presumably they would come early when there was loads of choice. It got so we’d have to turn up half an hour early just to park.
