Does Anyone Else Get annoyed.....

Ask a Question

With all the product testing links in freebies or is that just me?

It's not really a freebie if you are signing up to be product tester. Yes it's free but you still have to leave a review. Some want long paragraphs or videos and photos. It's not an easy process to sign up either?

Maybe there should be a Seperate product tester section?

agree I'm not interested in signing up as product tester unless it was guaranteed and they rarely are.

I agree with you but some people don’t mind it. I don’t bother signing up unless I’m really bored.

I'm hardly interested in Freebies as it is - the time people spend applying for them must exceed any actual gain they get from them (There aint no such thing as a free lunch - comes to mind).

Well there are less freebies around than in the past due to the rise of "joining a tester club". Also some links are for a giveaway that may only have the freebie for the first 500. Yes it is a little annoying.

jmsonl Yep. Those freebies that are really prize draws or competitions. So annoying. Just say what it really is right?

I have also always thought this way.

I classify product tests as being competitions because they only have a very limited number of products available (if not just 1) and hundreds if not thousands of people are applying for that same product.

One thing I would suggest for LD is to have a section specifically for product tests perhaps? In the same way that we have sections for Freebies, Competitions and so on.

Yes! That's what I was suggesting, somewhere they could all go and not be mixed in with the freebie section. Because I hate clicking on FREE xxxxx and it's a product test, always nope out of those.

It isn't free if you have to work for it, especially when it isn't guaranteed even getting the item to review
