Does Anyone Go Out/away for Festive Season?
Ask a Question
Trying to find a budget option of a private hire Christmas gathering of 13 adults and 3 boys age 10. Thing is we need New Year’s Eve and somewhere in the South East. Hotels and pubs (kids not allowed anyway) not ideal for boys to let off energy. It needs to be outside of our homes this year for various reasons. Anyone have any ideas? Clutching straws. Thank you.
Unfortunately anywhere is going to be expensive on New Years Eve. You could try local church halls or smaller town halls. We always stay home, we used to go out to Ceilidhs on Hogmanay but that was a good 12 years ago, maybe more.
I've had a quick online search for you and here is a link. It's a simple way to check out lots of sites that might accommodate your requirements.
JLouM I think you will struggle on a budget, it’s so expensive over the festive period. My daughter (31) wanted to go Disneyland Paris for two nights over Christmas. Time everything was added up it was over £2000. Maybe an Airbnb. Never tried them myself. Obviously you need to book soon and can’t leave it as you could pick up a bargain nearer the time.
When I was younger I always used to go to house parties for Christmas Eve, as I’ve got older now I don’t bother
