Does Anyone Know Any Platforms Similar to eBay?

Only place similar to ebay i know is https://www.ebid.net/uk/ it doesn't get the same amount of traffic but has been around awhile

Getting down to it, nothing comes close to eBay.

Depop is ok and pays into PayPal. I always use Vinted now, pays into bank, never had any issues with them and no commissions cuts either

Lots of alternatives for local selling but for selling with postage it really has to be ebay. Some people are always going to be unfair, hard to deal with or simply criminal whatever you use, its the nature of some people. The good thing is if you sell locally and they turn up offering only half the money then just say sorry and goodbye and thats it. They have wasted far more of their time and petrol money coming to see you. If you put it in the advert 'no offers' and they still turn up offering less than its their own fault. Selling locally is better if you can I think because ebay is a horrific company to deal with and very unfair at times.

I really hate the new payment method. Sold an item on Sunday and got notification that the buyer had paid so posted it off yesterday. Only got email notification this morning that eBay have processed the payment and it will reach my bank account in up to 4 days. Paypal was instant!!!

SHEIN is very good takes a little longer to be delivered but they have so many products! Their clothing is actually surprisingly good
