its a worrying thought and I get the message behind it...but the pic is just a photoshop, right?

Unfortunately not a photoshop - I just did a screenshot from a video that was recorded by a research scientist in Greenland, who put the video up to show the world what is happening. It’s quite a scary thing to see, knowing what it means for our future

I think it popped up as part of a news bulletin in one of my fb feeds, but I’m trying to look for it now without any joy. I can only find the news reports about it from various sites https://weather.com/news/weather/video/ice-melt-leaves-sled-dogs-in-water but the one I saw had the footage and then an interview with the researcher talking about it, as they’re not used to this much melting this time of year, and it’s dangerous for them to get across this way
