Dog Health Insurance - How Much Do You Pay per Month?

Hi there, my friends have been given a quote for health insurance for their 2 labradors and they seemed pretty high, especially as they have no current health conditions. I wondered how much others have been quoted for similarl so we could compare?
It can depend on the type of dog you have and whether you are getting lifetime insurance on the dog. It also depends how much excess you are willing to pay if they need an operation or other treatment and how much you set the cover amount for each year eg £5000 a year to cover any treatment the dog might need.
We pay £30 a month, but we have a Jack Russell. Our dog recently had an operation that would have cost £1500 if we didn't have insurance.
