Dog Starved to Death after Owner Left Him in Kitchen for 34 Days

In the News

I can't believe that the owner has only got a lifetime disqualification from keeping animals and 18 weeks imprisonment, which is suspended for 2 years.

I normally like to put a photo with my comments, but I found these too upsetting. I don't want to say what I think of this dog owner ....

sadly the courts are often too lenient when it comes to cruelty to animals, especially when it is so painfully cruel like this

Should be sentenced the same as it would be for doing it to a human no place for people like this in civilised world lock them up and throw away the key

They should do the same to her as she did to the dog , the courts are far to lenient when it comes to animal cruelty, if it had been done to another human the sentence would have not been as lenient, karma always comes around

It's a young woman, if you don't want the dog you can take him to shelter.

Not just go away for a month, leaving it to die.

If you went away at short notice you think you would ring someone to go look after your pet, even if it meant them breaking a window.

beccatavender it’s a shame that none of the neighbours knew about the dog as if it was one of my neighbours I would have broke the window to get in to get the dog out.

I couldn't work for the RSPCA as I would end up in jail. Sick disgusting people.

They should have imposed the 18 weeks prison sentence and put her in solitary and forget to feed her

I can understand the sentiment, but the majority of people are not that cruel, but hopefully there is such a thing as karma 🙂
