Dogs Jumpers

I see the point in things that keep dog warm or dry but disagree with dressing them up

When my boy was a pup he often wore a jumper to keep warm. Now he hates them so I dont attempt it. He does wear a coat when out for a walk at this time of year.

Our dog has a coat and a hoodie so she doesn't get cold when we take her out in winter. She has a jumper which I will put on her in the house if it is a really cold day so she is warm till the heating kicks in.

I have 2 Shih Tzu's and have them cut short as they love walks. Short coats are easier to manage & keep clean. Hence I have coats and jumpers for them when it is cold. They have no issue with them. Works for all. Keeps them clean & less stress & work for me.

I’ve seen loads of dogs dressed up and they usually look like they don’t mind. My cats being dressed up on the other hand...lol

My mum has minature pinschers and they hate wearing any clothes!!

My dog loves her jumpers , she has athritus so they keep her nice and cosy x

I have a chihuahua she’s quite old so she has a sensible coat that warms her, I don’t dress her up it’s just as she’s got older.

I have 4 dogs. 1 won't let me even show him a jumper, another like just rolls to the side and won't move until I take it off. Another chews them and the other happily wears his outfits lol

The only clothes my dog has are a reflective jacket for when he goes out in the dark since he’s difficult to see at night, and a waterproof jacket for when it’s raining. He used to hate them when he was younger but he enjoys them now and will ask for his waterproof one when we go out - he stands next to it if he knows it’s raining waiting for it to go on.

I put my dog in a jumper to keep warm as she is short haired (and a giant pansy) and gets very cold in the winter - she has a coat for outside and a jumper for inside which she wears occasionally if she’s shivering.. it’s just a bonus that she looks funny
