Donald Trump has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by Right-wing Norwegian politician Christian Tybring-Gjedde .
Personally, I don't believe such a divisive and controversial person should ever be nominated for a such a prestigious award.
I doubt this nomination will get much further, but in the unlikely event Trump wins, the Nobel Peace Prize will become regarded as a bit of a joke.

The politician also said Mr Trump played a “key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and… creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, such as the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan, and the conflict between North and South Korea, as well as dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea.” He also praised the president for withdrawing troops from the Middle East.
But destroying America in the mean time.
It's certainly interesting to see how his supporters view him. Many other people regard him as a narcissist and pathological liar.

Trump is the last person I would consider nominating for a Nobel Peace Prize. Let’s hope whoever judges takes into account how he refers to people in his own nation and not just one successful deed.
This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Although he could single handed make peace in America he could leave and never return
As awful as he is I guess if by some miracle he does manage to bring two parties to the table and get some sort of settlement you can't really argue with his nomination but it only goes to show how weird reality is sometimes. I guess there is hope for us all if someone like Trump can be president of the United States but personally I prefer a system where the more competent someone is the higher they get. I'm not sure there is a political system on the planet that uses such a system sadly. The one refreshing thing about Trump as a politician is he is easy to know when he is lying, everytime he speaks but most politicians it isn't so easy.

I think this is an example of how corrupt the world has become. This man has no morals, integrity or intelligence! His nomination has been ‘bought’. How can he be seen as a messenger of peace when he is building a wall between the States and Mexico and he incites violence in relation to the recent high profile killings in the USA?
