Don't Forget to Recycle Your Wrapping Paper
Other
If you are left with lots of wrapping paper and you are not sure if it can be recycled, do the "scrunch test" to check.
Just take a piece of the wrapping paper and scrunch it into a ball in your hand.
Next, open your hand and take a look.
If the paper stays in a ball, it's likely you can recycle it. However, if it bounces back open, it can't be recycled
If it has any foil or glitter on it though, you can't recycle it. Even though it looks pretty, I think I need to resist buying it and only get recyclable paper in future.
I have squeezed all mine into ryclycling bin with bag of cans on top will get the kids to stand in it tomorrow and put another bag cans in I ain't spending Xmas morning checking the paper
I refused mine for people I haven’t seen yet and this tear we didn’t bother wrapping presents.
This is great info thank you for sharing great to be aware of these things and do our part
My local council will not accept any wrapping paper for Recycling, we've been advised to put it into general waste.
I don't usually use or need wrapping paper as i use giftbags, but i bought for children this year so needed wrapping paper, but it said recyclable on the wrapper and told them, cos I wanted it recycled
