Don't You Just Wish You Read the Description First?!

Have you ever bought anything without reading the description first? I just bought a couple of Green and Black's chocolate of Amazon thinking I was buying a normal size bar for 85p! 
oops!!!! I can relate to that ... tho with (bad) experience ....I've pretty well trained myself to check, check...and check again 
Enjoy your tiny chocolates!! I usually read the description a few times when I'm buying something, just to make sure. But I have been caught out a couple of times, not getting the quantity I thought I was getting of something because I didn't check the description properly.
angelik ... yep me the same .... and even worse about reading and re-reading the payment and delivery info! I made an order from Superdrug and hadn't noticed the delivery address hadn't updated....only the payment one....as a result, the parcel was going to out old place 500 miles away and the new occupant was never going to send it on! Eventually, thanks to SD customer service it was sorted but it took ages!
I was looking for them in the box amongst other items I purchased. I thought they hadn't sent them they were that small! 
I sympathise. It is one of my bug bears when shopping online especially when supermarket shopping. A tin of beans is not always a tin of beans, the images mean nothing.
Whoops, the bars of chocolate have definitely got smaller so i do check the weights. There’s an ad on tv where someone ordered furniture online but it was for a dolls house, haha.
Yes they have got smaller, but that's taking the mickey!! Ha ha!! Especially when they're charging for a full size one!
Yepp! All the time! Once i bought an iron without checking dimensions. Ended up being for a dollhouse
I bought two lanterns on Amazon actually from a deal on ld thought they were large lanterns they were tiny about a inch high was not impressed
I've tried my best to inform members re the size /cost of biscuits and chocolate bars etc . All of which go massively "popular " and are TBH lousy "non deals " . Sadly members do not read the description or even comments on them - so who is to blame ?
Members take the time to read the description , ignore the comments that say such as " wow my mum would love this great chocolate deal" and maybe pay attention to comments I make such as " No deal £4.20 worth of chocolates/biscuits for £11.99 !
I can't comment on every deal , I have a life ! Members do not go on "popularity " often made popular by naive members liking any such "non deal" just for the points 
.
I do try to help but members have to help themselves by reading the description and taking note of any intelligent comments ( too rare sadly !)
I did not get this off LD, I was doing a small shop on Amazon. I thought I was buying a standard bar at the price I was paying. I don't know how sellers can charge the prices they do on their items. Amazon should get tougher with them, but yes I should have read the description first, even though in the photo it did look like a big bar.
In the Amazon photo it did look like the size of that Bourneville bar as it was taken up close.
lucyeva72 Unfortunately the "points for likes" model on Latest deals , leads to many likes for , honestly , really poor deals . Members should never assume that any deal on here is a deal , let alone a good deal 
and should rely only upon their intellect to read descriptions and exercise their own judgement .
I'm glad I'm not the only one, I spent £10.99 on one jar of Dow Egberts Coffee from Amazon, thinking I was buying three, which was what was in the photo. Lesson learnt 
And don't start me on the many rug Deals on here 
. Picture of a 2metre x 1 metre rug , hundreds of "sheep likes" ! Sadly the £9.99 price refers to a doormat size rug , the rug shown is £129 !!
It may be Latest Deals but unless you use your noddle you will be disappointed .
I never get caught out like this online. After all, they do have all the info you need on there, and if not, they’ll put it right after a complaint
