Don't Laugh But I Need Help With Understanding A New Phone Memory Card Please

I have a Motorola moto e 2nd Generation phone, I've never used it as a phone but used to do things like run Swagbuck & Insta Apps, there was enough on the phone card then, I want to have more receipt type Apps now but I haven't got enough storage, it's only a small card and the phone will take a 32, so I need a new card, well that's fine as there's a good deal here but what I don't understand, and I have tried to search the answer myself before I ask, what happens to what I have on my card now, after taking off what I don't need, I have a couple of Apps a VPN and some photos, how do I get them onto the new card I want to put in my phone? Thanks x

You'll have to reinstall the apps from google onto the new card, in google goto your installed apps then library and you'll see everything you have ever installed. As for photos you'll have to copy them from the card to a pc then transfer back from a pc to the phone/new card. Or just pop the card into a card reader in a pc and copy back to the phone/new card. Whilst doing that make a backup of the photos
