Drug Dealers Turn Airbnb Rental into a Meth Lab

Ask a Question

Letting out your property has always been hit and miss using Airbnb

Sometimes scammers list it on fake websites to extort money , then there are people who cause damage to it having parties etc

But these renters went to the extreme with this couples property in Omaha in the US

They used the rental as a meth lad to produce the drug

Luckily the owners had external cameras and observed what was happening and the police got involved in surveillance and busted the gang

Unluckily the owners ended up with $26,000 of damage to their property

Have you had any bad experiences using Airbnb, renting or using ?

Only ever rented it out to my sister because if the tenant doesn't pay You will want to drag them out and a law won't allow it.

Have stayed in a few Airbnbs and have always found them to be nice and the process to be effortless.
