Dunkin Donuts Changes Its Name to.. Dunkin

Other

The switch to just Dunkin' will begin in January. The restaurant has used Dunkin' in its tagline "America Runs on Dunkin',' since 2006 and found that customers reacted positively to the shortened name.

Who knows, maybe it's time Burger King becomes the Burger, and McDonalds as Donalds. 😆

In honesty, that seems like an odd change since 'Dunkin Donuts' was already known worldwide and switching to only 'Dunkin' kind of makes it a tad vague.

Most people I know already refer to McDonalds as Macs or Maccies lol.

Or Macky Dees.

I never got used to those terms, if I have to use one, it's the original.

I wonder if they're branching out to non-donut goods?

A nice Dunkin' quinoa salad 😁

Everything gets shortened these days. Guess it makes sense for those who hashtag a lot. A lot of abbreviations are accepted on scrabble now too

Rockman lol perhaps it makes sense just to be ’i’, as everyone knows what the ’i’ stands for. In fact, Apple should just be known as ‘i’

I wonder how much they marketing spent coming up with that 'gem'. In a few years they may change it again to Dunk and start selling basketballs 🏀

They closed the nearest store...they could not make money. These donuts are overpriced....same with Krispycream, i think they changed their name to K to C or other way around. I think they are bit better because they made a business with Tesco, so most of the stores have Krispy Cream and Dunkin is nowhere, even I think they are better.

Dunkin Donuts are delicious but a box for £12? Would rather spend that somewhere else.
