What's peoples thoughts on durham police force giving heroin addicts pharmaceutical heroin to inject twice a day in designated "shooting galleries"
Serious this is a joke right I can't stand these junkies if they can't get that drug then they will use that spice why waste that sort of money put them somewhere to be cared and cleaned of the rubbish
I think that anyway they can be helped and kept off the streets is a good thing, I would rather they went somewhere controlled than leave needles in a park or street where my kids go . Also let's not forget that drug addicts are people too I don't think any of them want to live this way .
This isn't great at all, in what world for you live in? These people are the type who never quit their addiction and will always want another refill.
Some will spend £50, £100 and more per day just so they get their fix. Not only do they ruin themselves but also those around them as they are asked for money constantly (which will lead them to being financially broke).
What they need is to be put in rehab centers regardless if they accept it or not, they are harmful to the society.
Rockman if that's your opinion that's fine but as a person who grew up in a area where drugs were prevalent I know that not all drug addicts are bad people and not all drug addicts want to be on drugs. I also know addicts who have got clean with a little help so I'm sorry if my opinion upsets you but I would rather treat humans well than like something that should just be ignored .I want my children to grow up in a safe environment with no needles in their local parks.
Just when I thought UK cops couldn't get any worse, they go and do this. Smh.
They're already seen by many as incompetent, lazy, afraid, petty and now delivering drugs to drug addicts. Man, isn't that great. This is just degenerates at this point.
