What Have You Been up to during This Pandemic?

What kind of things have you been up to since Covid-19 began? Have you learned a hobby? Lots of shopping? Are you an essential worker who has been working hard?
Personally, I've been trying to learn BSL, balance college, and do multiple exercise challenges involving cycling!
I have been mainly putting on weight, watching more tv than I should have and not doing the diy tasks
That is a whole mood - I binge watched Taskmaster, I love it! We also built a fence, and did some other work on the house. What shows have you watched?
Have done all the usual like clearing out cupboards, draws and wardrobes, washed curtains and nets , decorated up and down hall, and every so often gone into garden to work on my fairy garden.
Sounds productive! I love the idea of the fairy garden. It sounds like a really sweet idea. What kind of things do you have in your fairy garden?
1m0g3n it is a corner of the garden which I am lining and putting pebbles and slabs down. A pile of boulders in back corner have glass beads to imitate a small waterfall which I will eventually flow into the circular space around a baby magnolia tree. I have 4 large fairies holding solar balls and a few smaller ones on sticks that you poke in the earth so it appears they are sitting on the paving. I have a gypsy caravan, a house and a shop aptly named Elfridges! They look nice lit up at night but lots more to do yet. Will post pic when done.
Sorted through my wardrobe, getting through my Netflix list, some baking, a few walks/runs, finished my degree! A lot of chilling compared to my usually very busy schedule!
Ooh, baking! What kind of things have you been baking? My mum has been doing some cute banana oat cookies for my baby sister, and we've done a few cakes here and there!
What is your role? My father has been working at home this whole time since he works at a IT company, luckily.
Same, work in IT for a major food and retail company. We've been super busy still. I managed to book a few days off couple of weeks ago as it was Eid and end of Ramadan. That was helpful, needed the break to catch up on some sleep mainly
SonsOfPitches Ooh nice - I'm sure there was a lot of meetings though. And it's nice you got the break. It's so sad that people couldn't celebrate Eid and Ramadan with the traditional big meals with the restrictions.
Gardening, decluttering and getting ready to move. Have watched more Netflix than normal though and despite having more time I've been a bit lazy too.
Can't go wrong with a decluttering! We've done a few tips full from the people who used to live in our house (they dumped rubbish everywhere in the garden). Ooh, ready to move? Good luck!
1m0g3n moving this weekend. On the plus when we move back in 4 months time the building work *should* be finished.
I've been drinking booze, smoking cigarettes and looking after the wife.
It's been great to have her here for a while, but she's starting up a new business, so I've been helping her out with that ready for when she can open up the new shop.
It's her first venture and I'm giving her as much support as I can.
Also doing all the cooking which I don't mind too much.

Well, you're going to be very healthy at the end of this, no mention of anything to counteract the drinking and smoking! Don't forget covid19 loves smokers 
Lynibis It's only the odd one when I get super stressed. Don't think they're making me feel any better though. I've had 2 this week.
Got 1 left for next week and won't be getting anymore.
Tbh, I kind of gave up smoking ages ago and just kept the half empty box.
I should have thrown them in the bin.
TheChimp good on you, smoking is a mug's game. How a 20 a day habit can be justified when it costs Β£300 per month, is beyond me. But then I guess all spending is only relevant when weighed against what you earn. My bug bear is people who moan that they can't manage on benefits while they puff away!
I'm now a qualified gardener because of this

Daily?! I'm so bad at remembering to water the plants. We got a greenhouse years ago which is coming to use during these days! My uncle is an actual gardner so don't let him see this

Almost the same as normal Work , sleep ,eat and vape ! ( gave up the weed 4 years ago and saved a fortune ) . Only thing that's changed is no Pub to go to .
Luckily I have a garden and a driving net so I can sit out in the sun after work with a beer and great conversation β¦...β¦β¦β¦. with myself . At least I win all the arguments !
Fair enough, and I miss going out too. I was going to go to a festival with my best friend and her parents, but it got cancelled so I am wallowing in self-pity!
I'm so grateful to have a garden throughout this whole thing, and a baby sister so that there is never a boring moment during all this! And haha, that's my arguments with my cat and my myself.
I've been working from home but around that I've re-engaged with a lot of crafts I knew as a child such as knitting, quilling, rug making and card making. I've got addicted to diamond painting. We've also started digging out the garden. Trying to do a lot of the heavy work to cut costs. Oh and so much baking I now need to start thinking about diets or bigger pants!
Diamond painting? I haven't heard of that! And my father refuses to get someone in, so he had enlisted our family to help build a whole fence and build the archway between that and the house, and it does look like a professional job!
1m0g3n It's a type colour by numbers but with shiny beads you stick on the picture rather than paints. I find it really therapeutic.

Cooking , baking, cleaning, ironing ,disinfecting everything , was forced to do loads of colouring with my toddler lol, and online shopping 
Love the cooking and baking! We've had to disinfect every individual thing we order when online shopping which is a bit of a long process, but what needs to be done! And my baby sister has loved spending time with us!
Same! I've loved taking this time to spend with my baby sister. I used to have to spend most my time taking the bus, so I'm not doing that anymore!
getting into shape, eating well, studying, and spending time with my dogs - yeah I'm THAT person

1m0g3n I have 9 dogs, they are all show dogs and require a lot of grooming and training! Do you have a dog?
belleshowsdogs 9! That sounds a bit chaotic, but sounds like a lot of cuddles/hugs too, haha. I have three cats (sorry!) and two chinchillas, and that is chaotic enough, ngl.
Discovering the delights of hand washing every item.
My washing machine died a death at the very beginning of this Covid outbreak and l was unable to get anyone to enter the house (understandably due to the seriousness of the virus) to remove and replace said machine.
Oh the joy of washing duvet covers in the bath.

Oh no! That sounds painful. I'd end up wearing the same clothes for multiple days or trying to fit one myself. Is it still broken?
Yup. Its been given the last rites, and is still skulking underneath the worktop. 1m0g3n l did manage to get a repair man that reluctantly came out and gave it a once-over. Needless to say, the repair is more expensive than buying a new machine. Madness!!
Things are now going back to "normal" a bit now, and l notice that companies are starting to deliver/install etc inside once more, so fingers crossed that the machine l want is still in stock.
Luckily the weather has been on my side of late, so not too much large or heavy washing, apart from the dreaded duvet covers. All jeans and jumpers are put away, and vests and shorts are the order of the day - and yes: worn multiple times!! 
Stapmevitals Sounds about right - you'd think they'd be cheaper since they are limited with work during this all, but that could work oppositely, I suppose.

Ah, I see - that sounds good at least. It sounds like it could be a lot worse, so you've done well out of it, or as best you can for having a broken dryer, haha.
Never liked to call it a "pandemic", but moreso people panicking when they shouldn't and buying products thinking it's the end of the world when it isn't.
Life for me hasn't really changed, although seeing people wear masks while driving or walking alone does make me smh.
Amen! The whole stocking up on toilet rolls and supplies is awfully ridiculous! I never understood it, not going to lie.
Yeah, I've noticed that. I find it weird how people wear masks/gloves/general PPE and yet don't social distance or play on their phone/touch their face???
Apart from not taking my son to his playgroups and seeing his friends, our day is pretty much the same. We've been going for walks, been out in the garden, playing with toys, reading, watching cartoons, helping with the laundry and the dishes, video calling his grandparents. Not much has really changed except his dad working from home.
Bless him - how young is he? I do wonder what the little ones think of this all, as the majority probably don't really understand. Sounds like a good day though - I'm sure he enjoys it! My baby sister is adoring having my dad and myself at home instead of at work and college.
