Eamonn Holmes Compares Dr Zoe Williams' Hair to an Alpaca's
In the News
I couldn't believe this headline, just why !!!!?
He says he wants to pet it, is that supposed to be flattering !
When asked why, he said he was trying to be humorous & he misjudged and was mortified & apologised. He for any offenced caused.
I would of thought if went without saying that you don't compare a women's hair to fur
Actually I would say the alpaca wins. No one has a sense of humour any more. My ex husband used to compare my hair to an explosion in a spring factory, I used to laugh and repeat it to friends because it was true. Truth I can take, lies not.
I hadn’t seen this story but unfortunately being on television you have to be careful what you say as to not offend. This happens in everyday life but the average person is not recorded saying it.
It's just a off the cuff joke. Not something to crucify him for, it's not coming from bad intentions. I think she has lovely hair tho.
Rude just rude. Dr Zoe Williams is beautiful, intelligent and articulate. Eamonn could learn a lot from her.
I don't think he meant it in malicious way and was just being humorous. I have often called my own hair a bird's nest.
I think if you or a loved one have an inside joke about your hair that's fine, I just think it was a strange thing to say that you want to pet someone's hair.
It was a bit patronizing for him to say to a Doctor who was on the show in an official capacity, would he have said that to a man ?
I quite like her hair but can understand the comparison. Some woman of African descent have some crazy hair styles and it does make the world a bit more interesting. Not that this hair style is particularly crazy I'd say it gets a 1 out of 5 on the crazy scale. We need a crazy hair style day for everyone once a year just to put a smile on peoples faces.
