Just come back from Morrisons and they have their Easter eggs already out on display. I'm sure children will find it very confusing .
Yeah we noticed Asda had a few Easter stuff on the shelves, it's all getting a bit ridiculous now, Easter is months away
martinlufc5637 April 20th to be precise and that is nearly a third of the year away. I bet it's because people like me buy them, eat them, buy more, eat them and so it goes. But not anymore with new year, new me lol.
Lynibis good luck with the new you, I gave up making resolutions, although I did cut back on eating crap last year, that was until Christmas day and the quality streets where opened lol
martinlufc5637 this isn't really a new year resolution, rather a bid to survive. My topic on 'new year, new me' tells why I am now doing this. So far so good. The leg pain has practically gone, tingling far less and the palpitations and adrenalin rushes have stopped, I hope permanently.
It's like a competition to see who can get them out first, which leads to free publicity.
Thatβs very very early isnβt it, seems every year they extend how long they put stuff out for.
Where I am we had mini eggs out in Morrison in mid December. Love a mini eggs myself
Last week I saw some valentines flowers being advertised. Seemed too early to push that but everyone needs to earn.
really? Where was this lol I mean I understand Valentineβs Day but Easter Yep our local Morrisons have replaced Christmas products with Easter eggs , same every year thou. Large supermarket chains plan almost a year in advance so for buyers, planners and logistics teams at head office Easter 2025 is done and dusted ,they'll shortly be thinking about what we will be having next Christmas. As the Easter eggs arrive at the stores they need somewhere to put them and that is out on the seasonal shelf , so it's more about storage rather than sales at the moment.
I did go in Waitrose on Christmas eve and said to my husband where are the easter eggs. The answer was no where but there was a small selection in store yesterday.
It is early but they have to fill the shelves with something especially now Christmas is over, I understand why they do it
glynismarshall1 problem with that is they already have their own sections also, if they move them to put them elsewhere then what goes on those empty shelves 
The non seasonality of shops drives me nuts and spoils any shopping experience that remains
No way I canβt even think about that yet nor could others I imagine way too soon especially with so much Christmas chocolate.

The Easter stuff produce does seem to be on the shelves pretty quickly after Xmas, has been for some years now.
Not noticed any Easter Eggs in our shops yet but we were in the local garage shop and they had Valentines Day cards out already.
I was in Morrisons in Sheffield Saturday afternoon supporting my service user to do her shopping, as we went down the isle a tall woman wasn't happy as Easter Eggs were on display.The woman who was surrounded by her family said loudly,I can't believe that Morrisons have EASTER EGGS for sale & it still Christmas, she said that she would boycott Morrisons in future.
janphoenix51 well thatβs her own opinion and she can do whatever she wantsβ¦ nothing to get that upset about!β¦ making a big deal out of nothing and donβt need to stress over it lol

kitty88uk We did have a little snow yesterday afternoon but it didn't settle as the ground was too wet. Sunny today!

Went to out yesterday to put some items to green bin but the damn lid would not open even when I was banging on it lol could have poured it water from kettle but nah donβt want to waste hot water!

Yes, I wear socks even in summer, mostly because I don't want to tread on anything untoward (with eight legs) in the middle of the night! I only stop wearing them if the temperature is over 30Β°C

kitty88uk I have drawers overflowing with socks and always have several spare pairs of slippers so that my feet are never cold. Yes, google is good for things like this.
