Any one else had such a poor service from EDF energy. After nearly 2 years of trying to get my meter readings correct i Left them in June to go with Bulb. I had to submit a final reading so they’d have to sort things out. It then took a further 3 months to dispute my electrcity readings and finally they approved my readings i had given all along. I was credited a large sum of money. It didn’t stop there. I was sent the wrong amount in cheque, this was rectified. And then I got sent a red letter disputing the cheque they had additionally given me. it was all finalised through complaining. last week I was sent a cheque randomly for £22 then followed by a bill saying I then owed them £1.67...... finally this week I get a bill for £900 plus because they failed to tell me it was my gas bill And had not settled the account. Even though I pay dual fuel, they had kept my electric bill in so much credit and my gas bill in arrears! I’m furious. 3 weeks before Christmas. Throughout this I was getting letters saying gas bill and final electric bill. So because I hadn’t seen that I have to now pay back the £900 plus pound. I did get compensated by £130 but I am so stressed by it all.... don’t ever go with EDF. Anyone else had a bad experience?
