I tried to buy my son a replacement Easter egg on Tuesday dog stole one of his and none of the shops we tried had any I had to buy him some bars
I was kind of hoping to buy cheap one for me I noticed same thing after Christmas am I looking in the wrong places or is it getting harder to buy cheap stuff after Christmas Easter ect.
I think it's harder to find things online, I've know I have seen some really good deals on Easter Eggs on this site for super markets but they are in store only

There are some not as cheap on Amazon, Thortons & Hotel Chocolat, if you go to deals and put Easter Eggs in the search box it should bring them up.
I've had to stop myself buying reduced stuff from Hotel Chocolate as it doesn't last two minutes
Oh what a shame, I haven't been in a physical shop for over a year, so based on the deals I assumed there were loads in store Imnotcheap
It's terrible when that happened, a few years ago I ate my neices Easter eggs, which I had paid about a £1 for ,
But had to buy the really expensive ones to replace cost me about £15 to replace them as that's all they had left Imnotcheap
I remember last year, my local Sainsbury's had loads of them left over. I was hoping that it would be the case this year, but alas there were none to be found this time round.
Lol they were probably selling off last year's eggs, hope everyone checked the BBE date before buying!
Lynibis You can actually buy Easter egg moulds off Ebay. Think I might just treat myself.
RegularComper90 I got chocolate bomb mould from Amazon made chocolate in them for egg hunt
Its harder this year and its probably down to corona and creating crowds as we it would be crowded with half price eggs.
Hope the dog's OK - did you take it to the vet? If you do manage to get an Easter egg to replace the one that could have killed the dog please read this first: https://vethelpdirect.com/vetblog/2013/03/29/chocolate-dog/
I was literally just about to comment the same, hopefully the dog was able to sick up the chocolate as the smallest bit is like poison to them!
AliceBakerI'm actually amazed that supposedly responsible dog owners are not aware that as little as 2 ounces of chocolate can kill a terrier sized dog, dogs love chocolate and won't stop eating it once they start. Through the years hundreds (possibly thousands) of dogs have been killed by Easter eggs that have been irresponsibly placed where they can help themselves. (Dogs don't steal - they don't know the concept of theft).
For those who didn't read the above link if a dog consumes chocolate (a bit on a chocolate biscuit wouldn't matter too much) a vet should be consulted as soon as possible.
The supermarkets seem to be clearing out faster - I normally get some last minute easter things on the Saturday, but this year the shops were quick to empty their shelves...and not because they’d sold out. I’ve been told sone shops were giving more away to charities and hospices this year
All the shops here had stopped selling Easter eggs in March. Luckily I picked up a few early when I went to the shops in March (I've only been going once a month to get essentials I can't get online). I saw Ocado was still selling some Easter eggs earlier when I went on there to check for something though.
