Enter Every Hour Winnit Comps

Other

Has anyone else noticed that loads more of those Winnit type comps are now 'enter every hour'.

I am boycotting them (not that I have entered many), because the chances of winning must be so low if you are up against folk who are fanatical about entering as often as possible. I am afraid I have better things to do with my time!

Yes, there has been LOTS of these posted lately. Again, I believe it's all to do with point gathering.

I too ignore those Winnit comps as I don't see the point in them, unless you enter the comps on all 40 or so of the Winnit websites in order to have at least a tiny chance at winning. And every hour, seriously?

Too much to hope everyone will boycott then maybe they would go back to daily, or even weekly, but hard to keep track over so many sites.

JohuraBegum they only require email address, nothing else at all. Other comps ask for far more.

Oh dear, I feel sad now, I posted mine because I thought they were good Comps. not for the points (although they are a nice bonus), any time I post one now I will think of you being cynical RegularComper90 ROTFL x

JoTarpley I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way, Jo. I was only referring to certain people. There are some people who are obvious point gatherers. But I know that you aren't one of them. xx

I tend to enter them just the once, it's a matter of moments since they only need an email address.

Would be nice to hear if anyone on here has won anything from one of them, I know I've not (Yet)

Years ago, on separate occasions I won an iPad mini, kettle & toaster, iron, socks, baby bio, an Aldi food & drink hamper & a BluRay player each from a different click to win site. It can/could be done but even I don't do them any more as the competition is too fierce and I feel I have little chance these days. The new enter every hour really put the mockers on it for me.

tumblespots gosh, that was a good run. Yes, as you say far more entering them now, I had not come across them until joining LD and have been doing comps for about 40 years. So easy to enter. They have even stopped doing the compulsory video watch.

Lynibis They also like to do 'type in the word' which I always found to be a pain in the ar#e.

There are about 40 sites, same prize, with daily or hourly entry so you would need to enter, realistically, 400 per day for a chance of a win. Though of course like the lottery there is always a random chance of winning. Have you ever won Jo? Far more chance of winning on single entry comps.

I got an email the other day stating I'd won a Winit film merchandise comp and I've also won quite a lot of other smaller things from them in the past. I only enter for prizes I would like to win and limit entries to a few Winit sites. Otherwise you really could spend all day doing them. However, I agree the hourly entry competitions are really annoying, so I still only enter them once a day.

Well done, nice to hear of someone winning. At the moment posting deals, comps and entering takes a lot of my time but I never say never .

JoTarpley It's great to learn of anyone here winning - I don't enter all the ones I share but would love to know if it's a lost cause or if lots of our community win. (go on....tell us what you won)

Only small prizes like tumblespots angemski, there was a bedding set, that was 4 pillows, 2 mattress protectors and 2 duvets, £50 of make up and a Nexus7 that I can remember but I don't do the clicks often, only odd ones that 'I think I want', (the trouble is with me is that I get things and they stay in the cupboard in boxes unused) I certainly couldn't go through 15 pages of them like some lol x

JoTarpley I completely agree - I am just not that dedicated - I like something a bit more instant. That was a great win though and it was something that is everyday-usable which always helps. I really must try harder.
