Get Those Epipens ready...

Is this offensive? I guess ads and captions have to be more sensitive these days
I am not an overly pc person but why would they even think of using those phrases in an advert. It just isn't necessary and does show a bit of a cavalier attitude.
The way the world is at the moment, then yes it is offensive. Should it be offensive, maybe not. I would expect better from a big company, yet the "joke" is obvious. There won't be anyone with a peanut allergy thinking "But Reese's is something I want to try".
lol yes that’s definitely how I saw it. There’s certainly more offensive ads out there that take the Michael out of people. This was trying to be a bit more tongue in cheek
As jmsonl said, nobody with a nut allergy wouldn't even consider eating this, so who is this really aimed at? It's a really odd ad.
Plus, from seeing posts on Facebook from a friend who has a child with severe nut allergies, it's not the most responsible thing to suggest either - people with severe allergies can quickly die from nuts, and an epipen isn't necessarily going to save them, so it's not really something to joke about.
Yes there’s indeed a long list, more things offensive than not offensive these days. So ads definitely need to watch out - the audience can easily turn on you
I think the whole country has gone, 'PC' crazy! Before long people will be too afraid to speak incase it offends someone. It could be said that the ad is offensive to diabetics too because of all the sugar which they can't eat! For goodness sake, I wish people would get off their high horse & take things in with way they are meant. What has happened to us as a nation we never used to be like this??
