In Which Era in the Doctor Who Universe Would You Rather Live In?

Very hard to say really since they are so far in the future i don’t really have much idea of what the 51st century would be like. I guess logically, for me, i would pick as far in the future as i could go, just to see how far the human race has advanced.

I've not watched any Dr Who since I think the last 10 years so not sure what the stories were about. I think human civilisation is running out of resources and the future could be bleak here with global warming and lowering of oxygen levels. It's pretty grim. As a kid if you asked me I probably would have said the time of Star Trek perhaps 200 years in the future but now I'm thinking today's time is best or perhaps a little earlier. It's not just about a time though its also about a place. Many places in the world you have a horrible existence which could be violent and short-lived.

22nd Century. Whilst this sounds a boring answer as it isn't that far away, I'd be intrigued as to whether the world would be that much different to now. The potential advantage of a little jump would be that it wouldn't likely be as disorienting as living in the far flung future.

The world needs to change , there are so many things wrong with it , warmongers need halting in their tracks if we want to look forward to any future and not nuclear devastation

Drug gangs and dealers need taking down and not be allowed to flourish as they are all over the world

The death penalty needs bringing back to deal with those taking the lives of our innocents , jail does not work , there aren't enough spaces anyway and dangerous criminals are being released early

That's just the tip of the iceberg , there's corruption everywhere , our politicians are useless, and youngsters are out of control , running feral everywhere

When these ''problems'' are resolved and many others not mentioned then we might be looking to some sort of future

It's time our so called ''leaders'' stopped burying their heads in the sand and took note of what is happening around them

I don't like dr who.

Every era has its problems. In the end id like to visit others but ultimately live in this one. There's something to be said for familiarity
