Have You Ever Been to a Music Festival?

Ask a Question

I have not but maybe I will in the future.

What was you favourite experience? Was it good or bad? Is there one you like to go every now and then?

I've been to a few, but Glastonbury is probably the best. Although, you do have to prepare for bad weather and the toilets are fairly gross.

I seem to have had bad luck in the last few years with torrential rain each time I've gone to a festival and am starting to think I'm too old for them. I am no fun if I'm soaked/not comfy. It's alright for the first day but then you wake up in a soggy tent with no dry clothes and a hangover 😂 I have however had some amazing times at some when the weather's been better - it really does make a massive difference. Glastonbury was probably my favourite too - big enough to wander around without getting cabin fever and chilled out vibes if you didn't fancy a mosh pit at 8am.

Yes I love a good music festival, I try to go to 2/3 a year. Never been to Glastonbury festival but have watched it a few times on the TV.

I've been to Leeds festival before it went mainstream and also went to TRNSMT in Glasgow this year which was really good as the weather was lovely the whole weekend! ☀️

I have only been to local ones, which are quite small but that suits me fine. I also go prepared with a fold chair, food and an umbrella.

I have been to small local music festival like Beverley and Pocklington.

I do enjoy live music & watch Glastonbury ever year on TV, but I don't like crowds and couldn't justify the £ and the thoughts of potatoes full me with dread 😀

I haven't and I'm generally quite unlucky with holiday weather so the idea of a bogging festival isn't that appealing lol x

My husband and I have been to loads of music festival. They've been a mixture of day, weekend and camping 🏕. We miss T in The Park so much. Some fantastic acts playing, amazing friendships made and the whole experience of camping for me was such a laugh. The younger generation mixing alcohol and drugs ruined this festival. Fights breaking out, people being badly hurt and drug deaths all added to this being cancelled a few years back. 😢

Never been to a music festival and don't plan to either. They don't play my type of music. Plus I'm not a fan of camping. If I'm going to camp for any event then it would for F1, nothing else.

No, it has never appealed to me, I've never liked live music especially the loud kind and even worse outdoors. I like my creature comforts too much.

I have never been to a Music Festival before. I think It will be to loud for me and overwhelmed due to me having a mild learning hidden disability and my hearing as well.

Yes, and it’s an overrated experience - you queue for everything, portaloos are gross, you feel gross, and everything is expensive. Definitely not my scene

Only for a day, never been to one where I've camped out for the weekend. I used to dream of going to Reading festival but now the thought of it doesn't appeal.
