I am redesigning my front garden and was wondering if anyone could advise me which evergreen shrub I should plant along my hedge. What is the prettiest one (and the cheapest one) in your opinion?
I have several camellias, beautiful glossy evergreen and flower once a year. Mine are rather slow growing so really depends on whether you need fast growing or not.
Just thought of another evergreen worth buying, a fatsia japonica. Glossy large exotic looking leaves.
I would love to help but I just seem to kill all green things the apple tree I'm growing with my son doesn't look to good
The Mahonia charity is a lovely, if prickly, shrub. Very beautiful when it flowers. Good for keeping other people's pets away (because of the prickles).
