Every Generation Has It's Own Dr Who, Which Actor Was Your Dr ?
Ask a Question
My husband is 9 years older than me, so his Dr Who was John Pertwee (1970 - 1974) my Dr Who was Tom Baker (1974 -1981), my son's Dr Who was David Tennant, who incidental I thought was excellent in the role. So, who was your Dr Who ?
I can’t say I’m a fan. I recall it being on tv when I was a kid but hadn’t a clue what was happening. I worked on an episode years ago and recall seeing so many fans...still don’t get the hype
I watched it from when the new Dr Who started, so I've seen all the new Drs, but my favourite was always David Tennant. I've liked all of the new Drs but there was just something about his Dr that was so different to the others. I am really liking Jodies version of the Dr. I've watched all the Dr Who spin offs as well. I went back and watched them all again during my maternity leave.
Christopher Eccleston was there when I first watched doctor who though not a regular viewer. I did like David Tennant.
I never really watched it when I was young but my daughter was crazy about it when Chris Ecclestone and David Tenant and I watched a few episodes...I actually liked it lol
I liked the early episodes best as you couldn't see the terrible special effects in b/w. So have a fondness for William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton. As a child I think it was Tom Baker that was the first Dr Who I saw and I actually think he was the best Dr Who but just enjoyed the stories of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton more.
When Dr Who was re-launched with Christopher Eccleston I watched for a while but was losing interest and then when David Tennent came along I think it destroyed my interest stone dead not because of him but the dire stories. I now can't watch it at all as the stories just don't interest me at all. It's like random ideas are just thrown in all the time and no episodes have a properly scripted story.
I don't have a TV license nowadays so don't have access to BBC programs but can watch them when I go to my mother's house but even then I don't bother. I see some BBC news but that's about it. So have no idea what the current Dr Who episodes are like.
