one person is giving me a collection of smething she likes but i can't see th point of. my collection is growing and i can't get rid of it cos she visits regularly but it is a huge waste of money
You should tell her in a nice way that you do not have room for anymore but you appreciate all the gifts.
I really don't know, depends how much you want to keep the friendship! I would maybe say something like I am going to box all these up and leave them to you in my will. Then laugh out loud and tell her your family said either the gifts go or they do.
I'm intrigued... WHAT IS IT? If by chance it's cuff links - tell her quite firmly that you've no intention of getting your wrists pierced - I'm quite sure she'll understand and desist.
If it isn't cuff links PLEASE tell us and perhaps, between us, we'll come up with a way for you to deal with it.
Also if isn't cuff links - and you'd like some... Just ask... I've had similar problems.
It's the thought that counts so maybe just donate them to charity or regift them if you don't like/want them?
well looks like you are all intrigued. they are little animal shaped toggles for putting on your anorak. they aren't ugly but I have 10 now and I would never buy myself and what on earth do you do with them. they are too big to put on your clothes
and thanks for the offer of cufflinks but I have even less use for them I am afraid. would you like a toggle or two perchance
