Good luck to all my Welsh friends who know that people have been taking the pee.

Am ready I have put my household in lockdown now except husband in work. Can’t deal with him home for months again 😂. Kids are home from school got cupboards full and delivery’s until Xmas.

But has you know people just can’t listen and my area was first to go into local lockdown and still numbers so high.

I'm in Neath Port Talbot bordering with Swansea....the worst infected places. To be honest, people's behaviour and the amount of people in shops hasn't really changed (although I haven't been into the shopping areas on a Saturday afternoon). In fact, since many students have gone home, shopping in Tesco and Lidl has been quieter. I can't see a lockdown before Xmas, the schools break up today and the uni is quieter so by default, numbers will start to drop, I reckon x

Hi k4ren2006

I think that you will find it will be a lot worse come new year.

We'll see cases soar due to people not abiding by the LAW and everything will go moobs up.

Get your toilet roll in now 🙂

TheChimp many haven't been abiding by the rules for months. Chin warming mask wearing, invading your personal space in shops...house parties galore. It's why our numbers are through the roof but a statement move will be made and a lock down is coming but after Xmas, I think x

TheChimp I have a feeling some areas will be in lockdown this week.

My area being one. Got plenty bog roll and pasta until end of January 😂 I do think if people don’t live on their own should cancel their Xmas plans

Ann1984 It's a sad state of affairs, but with this 5 day Christmas BS and the students coming back, it's going to be a horror show in the new year ☹️

Ann1984 But what will that do?

The infected kids will spread it to their family members anyway.

And the no mark parents will spread it to their friends by not adhering to the law.

It's a lost cause in Wales tbh.

Wish you all the best in Wales. I wish that people every where could just be sensible.I had to get something from town (England not Wales)on Saturday and was surprised and how full shops were some people seem to have forgotten about the pandemic

Imnotcheap Thanks for your thoughts 👍

We were in a low infection area, but now it's going crazy. No one is listening to the rules, so it's only going to get worse.

It's a shame that a lot of people are so selfish.

TheChimp Ann1984 It's not just Wales where they do what they want, some very close to home couldn't care less or they don't understand the rules, which are difficult to understand. Step-son and his partner have 2 kids, hers and theirs, the eldest was sent home from school because someone in the class was positive, he had to stay in until his test came back - good. The bit I couldn't understand was the younger one still had to go to school because he was in a different class! and it was ok for his Dad to go to work.

lilyflower Yep, rules and guidelines are absolutely nuts.

What doesn't help is that there's 4 different governments giving out different advice.

lilyflower yeah that’s same here too. One minute they saying hospitals are not over stretched then there are icu nurses putting videos up on Twitter asking well more like begging people to follow rules.

Ann1984 They set up a special 'hospital' by us in the summer, but it wasn't used, so they decommissioned it.

We're going to need it in the new year, mark my words.

Carmarthenshire is going moobs up.

I have family in Wales and they are so fed up with it. They not seen love one now for over 9 month. They have a kept by the rules. But people just do not care. They told me that there will be another lock down and soon. They are all staying in there own house over Christmas. They are not meeting up. And they told me they can't see any changes in the new year. Be just like this one. But much worse. 🎅
