So I always try my best to mind my ps and my qs I apologise s today to gentlemen because I was on path on pushbike had to brake with my feet lol let him past the sign I did say sorry sir well if looks could kill I do find myself wondering more more is it me who's insane or most of the world??
Before any1 says well shouldnt been on path I dont trust other road users at roadabouts lol plus if some1 did clip me I have large brain anyruism witch would end great
Mctash Well that's no excuse. You don't trust road users so you put pedestrians at risk instead. Maybe you should sell the bike and walk yourself especially given your condition. Sorry but you're % in the wrong here.
I always say please and thank you but at time I do lose it abit when I move or a hold the door open for someone and they don't say anything in the end I say your welcome lol
When I watch old movies and remember my youth, people were far more vocal with each other. Passing strangers always said good morning/evening/afternoon or commented on the weather.
I was brought up to let my 'elders go first' and at my first place of work my senior boss and I both went for the door at the same time, I held it for him, he indicated I go first (he been brought up ladies first, no matter how junior), after a stand off he shouted 'just go through the bl**dy door'. Now very few people seem to say good morning etc when they pass each other.
I always always say 'please, thank you' and ... too often, 'sorry' even when it's not my fault! No one's perfect and if someone says 'sorry' what's the harm in a either smile ... or a fair measured response?
I always smile, greet, say my please's and thank you's and sorry's however I have noticed over the years people are just a bit too occupied to respond. Manners are becoming scarce but not extinct.
Yeah they are indeed but bit eye contact good morning I love taken pup out in morning seeing older gen be able to say GM to them watching then smile say GM makes mine and there day I reakon s
Mctash It definitely does, a smile makes everyone's day. However saying that sometimes you get a scowl in return. I just respond by by saying oh dear looks like you're having a bad day hope it gets better going forward and carry on lol. Leave them in shock I think because they weren't expecting that. Lol
Why were you on a pushbike on a path? If it wasn't a designated cycle path then you were in the wrong and I'm not surprised the pedestrian was cross.
Mctash And I'm explaining that it is ILLEGAL to be on a push bike on a footpath. You shouldn't be cycling on it. Regardless of your medical condition. FULL STOP.
Yeah I'm in northallerton we dont have such things as a designated push bike paths here TractorGirl327
Mctash So either ride on the road or not at all. You're endangering pedestrians , young children etc who are allowed to be on footpaths with your selfishness and ignorance.
Wow your very rude tractor I'm not ignorant or selfish hardly crime of century endangered lol was I pedaling like I more of danger to myself rather any1 else
God take chill pill will ya TractorGirl327
Get some probs me lol but if I was in accident be only me bike participating I reakons lol
Erm well yes only accident waiting to happen is me with myself why what's wrong with that TractorGirl327
Why am I an ejet like I havent been rude to you just saying I'm accident prone normally all my accidents involve me myself TractorGirl327
Ow comp, etly get that get some I wasnt ride pedalling as such I probs shoulda got of just pushed Getsome
I have to agree with others here, you shouldn't have been on the path. You don't want to ride in the road as you're worried that you may be injured, but by riding on the path you could easily cause someone else to be injured. I'm not really sure how you were expecting the man to react- yes you apologised, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
