Eye Make up Remover

Ask a Question

Anyone recommend a good brand for eye make-up removal? I use simple for the face but I don't find it very good for removing waterproof eye make up such as mascara and felt tip eyeliner..Rimmel is extremely tough to remove

Body Shop Camomile Eye Make-up Remover is good if you have sensitive skin or No 7 is also good.

A cleansing balm or oil is your best bet. I usually use The Body Shop Camomile or Emma Hardie one. However I'm currently using DHC oil & really liking it. You can get a small bottle of DHC oil for just a couple pounds if you wanted to try it out

You’re better off using a cleansing oil - try to avoid foaming cleansers altogether. Follow this step by using some micellar water and a cotton pad. You might have to repeat these steps because the eye area is delicate and you don’t want to rub too much.

No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover was the absolute best! They've recently changed the formula and the reviews are not good. I used it for years and not happy about the change so I started using another dual formula Nivea it works just as well. NIVEA Eye Make-Up Remover Double Effect half price at Boots atm £1.94 (I wear waterproof too)

I never heard of cleansing oil. I'll have to try it whenever I get back to working at the office (I haven't worn make up since March apart from the odd Zoom calls!).
