Facebook yet Again Trying to Close My Comping Only Account

Other

Facebook have closed 3 of my previous competition only accounts. I haven't used my current one for ages but over the last few days I've been comping. I got the usual 'suspicious activity' message but this time I did manage to convince facebook it was me by selecting 4 of my last posts. I get fed up of this. I do not want a social account there posting all my private info. Has this happened to anyone else? They hate it when you don't have huge friends list, don't post info about yourself and just use the platform for your own benefit. I wonder how long it'll be before they close this account down. If they do, I give up with facebook.

I have a non friends account and don't have an issue with it at all, though I have joined one group on there so maybe that is the answer, join a group and then set it to not following so that you don't get endless notifications. All the people out there with fake accounts using them for immoral reasons and yet they pick on someone like yourself, just another thing to the list of things wrong with that platform

I'm a member of several groups on facebook including latest deals, wowfreestuff and few others. I hadn't used the account for most of this year but now I'm back using it, I do comment in groups, like posts etc as well as sharing and entering comps. Facebook just hates me. I'm not spamming or doing anything dodgy at all. Now if I were to add everyone I've ever known in my life, they are fine with me. Never had problems with facebook when I had an account full of friends, family and work colleagues posting about myself.

I guess they don't like you using it for this and maybe even the competition organisers don't like these types of accounts as they run the comps to try and increase their profile among your followers, so if you don't have any, there's nothing in it for them.

probably. yes. Mind you if facebook were not horrible data gathers who have lied and lied about what they do with your info I would still have a regular account there. I deleted it because of their antics in stealing data.
