Family Game Night Ideas?

The post it notes game is fun. Write the names of someone famous or well known to the group on a Post-it note and stick it on the forehead of each person. People then have to guess who is on their forehead by asking only yes or no questions

we love the old cluedos monopoly etc but this year we are doing the disney card head game!

Pictionery, Bingo, Happy Hippos, Cludeo, Operation. I used to play Scrabble a lot but it got too competitive and I would only play if I had a 100 point as husband is so good at it

My family like to do scavenger hunts. We can come up with different things we need to find every time, and make the theme fit the occasion.

Playing “hide and seek” but where someone hides an item and everyone else has to look for it can be really fun too.

My son introuced us to a game called cahoot and we can easily say it really keeps us entertained and we love it .

Exploding Kittens! So funny. Basically, it's roulette in the form of a card game - with a lot of laughter thrown in.

This is my family’s favourite! So, imagine pass the parcel! BUT, you also need a dice and a pair of oven gloves!

Instructions below! We only play with one dice and you got to throw a six.

It’s so funny, if you have hold of the present, the next person may have thrown a six before you’ve even got your oven gloves on, On the other hand, you may actually get a layer of paper off!!! Good for Adults and children! (Ignore the BOWL bit in the instructions, thats just to throw the dice in so you don’t lose it!)

Another good game of ours... and soo funny..... the water game!

Sit in a circle.... you need a thimble size amount of water! (We tend to go a bit OTT! )

So the person that is IT thinks of a subject, for example... makes of car, characters in Coronation st, boy bands etc.... they write down (the make of car etc)

You then go round the circle and you have to name a make of car, if you name the same one that the IT person has written down, you get the water in the face....... BUT, the IT person can throw the water at any point.... so you may think you are safe as you are still going around the circle guessing, then all of a sudden you get a face full of water!!!! Xxxxxxx
