Fancy Wearing This Hat on Your next Trip out to a Restaurant or Cafe?

In the News

so for anyone who thought the kids wearing those propeller hats in Chinese schools were daft, fancy being one of the customers in a German cafe who are wearing the swimming pool noodle float hats as they dine? 😂

There was a funny joke letter shared online recently that's meant to have been sent from a school. One of the things it mentions is wearing helicopter hats and the kids having to spin around at various points in the day...

We are programmed to avoid danger around our body area so anything over that would take a lot of adjustment. None of those people look to be 2 metres apart and if they live in same household don't need them anyway. I would sooner stay in than wear something so stupid. It doesn't protect you from whoever has already sat there unless they have a crack cleaning team between each set of customers.

Lynibis I definitely wouldn't sit there if it involved a 'crack cleaning team' 😄

Er no... I'd probably knock my drink over if I wore a hat like that. The tables don't appear to be 2 metres+ apart. Plus, every person that goes there will be using a limited number of hats that have been worn by many other customers - how are they cleaning them. Even under normal circumstances I wouldn't want wear a hat that has been worn by someone else 🤠

ACR The though of sharing the hat that has been touched by others was my first thought too. Not how ridiculous they make you look. It's strange how quickly our mindset has changed.

no thanks. I never liked using them floats in the swimming pools, so I doubt it is an option for me to wear on the head

Lol me neither. We used the little square foam floats for swimming lessons as kids, and never came across the long ones until recently.
