How Far Would You Travel for a Bargain?

Haha I wouldn't travel that far. Only into my local town. There's nothing I ever need desperately. I'm just happy to get the deals that are local to me

I like a good bargain, but I'm usually not willing to inconvenience myself to get one, so would not travel far. If the local branch of a particular store I like closed, I'd be more likely to shop elsewhere then to travel to a branch that was out of my way.

I’m willing to travel to a branch of a shop slightly further away than my closest one if they have something in stock, but only if both are in walking distance since I don’t drive.

Am not willing to travel no need when we have latest deals helping us find bargains

I would cycle or take the bus as I don't drive but the maximum distance would be an hour each way.

I wouldn't mind going just a few miles providing it's a really good bargain

I would go to next town if a great bargain and something we really need or if kids asked for that specific thing for bday/Christmas but generally if you spend more money getting there you save less

If it was something that could be ordered online and delivered I would choose that option but I traveled a long way in the past to go to a specific store. Last time we went some distance approximately 75 miles so made it a day trip.

Closing stores is a wonderful way of helping Amazon isn't it! People don't really want to travel too far and we are now in a downward spiral in which Amazon will reap the rewards. We should be protecting our High Streets or soon there won't be any competition and then even Amazon's prices will increase....

I will drive a fair while for a serious bargain. I've driven about 110 miles in the past for a secondhand computer. I made a day of it to see a few sites and the savings on the computer more than paid for the day trip. The bigger the savings the more you can justify the travel. I can't imagine John Lewis having many bargains worth a long drive they are typically quite expensive although a lovely shop to visit and explore.

I wouldn't travel any significant distance other than my usual area of shopping. The only exception would be a day out with family or friends to an out of town centre like Lakeside where we would lunch and shop.

Local town. But 9 times out of 10 in use online as we dont have many shops here and the ones we do have never have the deals in. I'm also anti postage so mainly use Amazon. Paying £4 or £5 on postage would put me off buying it. I just spent £400 on a cooker and hated that I had to pay £8 delivery
